For plans: Standard, Pro
Works on: desktop browser, mobile browser
Your customers can buy a gift voucher directly on your Booking Page and pay for it online. The purchase works just like booking a service, so it will feel familiar to them. Once a voucher is sold, you'll find it in Settings > Inventory > Vouchers, where you can check its balance and history. When the customer comes to use it, you redeem it at checkout.
Gift vouchers are currently available only for businesses in the Czech Republic on the Standard and Pro plans. We're working on bringing them to more countries.
How customers buy a gift voucher
Gift vouchers can be bought on your Booking Page in any web browser, on a computer or a phone.
On your Booking Page, the customer clicks Buy a gift voucher.
They enter the amount the voucher should be worth. The minimum and maximum amount are set by Reservio and shown in the field, e.g. 100–10,000 CZK. The Summary on the right shows the selected amount.
They click Proceed to checkout.
They fill in their personal information and choose a payment method, the same way as when booking a service. Then they click Confirm & Pay.
Gift vouchers can only be paid for online. Customers can't pay for a voucher on-site or with any other payment method.
What the customer receives
After the payment goes through, the customer receives a confirmation email with the voucher. The email includes:
the voucher code
the voucher value
the name of your business
the date the voucher is valid until
instructions on how to use the voucher
Each voucher is valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Where to find sold vouchers
All vouchers sold on your Booking Page are listed in Settings > Inventory > Vouchers.
You can manage vouchers only in Reservio in a web browser. They aren't available in the Reservio Business mobile app.
For each voucher, the list shows:
the voucher code
its status: Active (the voucher still has value left) or Fully redeemed (the whole value has been used)
the date it expires on
Use the search bar to find a voucher by its code.
Every sold voucher also appears as a payment in Sales > Transactions. Click the transaction to open its detail. The detail shows:
Transaction details: type, payment method, transaction ID, status, net income and fee
Client details: who bought the voucher
Order summary: the item Voucher and its value
[screenshot: Transaction detail with Voucher in the Order summary]
Check a voucher's balance and history
Click a voucher in the list to open its detail. At the top you'll see:
Status
Balance: how much value is left out of the original amount, e.g. CZK 300.00 of CZK 500.00
Expires on
The History section shows every change to the voucher:
Issued: the voucher was bought, with its full value
Redeemed: part or all of the value was used to pay for an order. The order number is shown.
Redemption refunded: a payment made with the voucher was refunded, and the value went back to the voucher
A customer doesn't have to use the whole voucher at once. Whatever is left stays on the voucher until it expires.
Managing vouchers
The voucher code isn't shown in Transactions. You'll find it in Settings > Inventory > Vouchers and in the customer's confirmation email.
When a customer comes to use a voucher, ask them to show you the confirmation email. Search for the code in Vouchers to check that the voucher is Active, how much Balance is left and when it expires.
Redeem a voucher at checkout
When a customer wants to pay with a gift voucher, apply the voucher code when you create the sale.
In the Calendar, click Create new.
Select Sale.
Add the services or products the customer is paying for. Once the order has at least one item, the Voucher code field appears in the Order Summary.
Enter the voucher code from the customer's confirmation email and click Apply.
Click Charge to complete the sale.
The amount you charge is taken from the voucher's balance. You'll see it in the voucher's History as Redeemed, together with the order number.
Turn off gift voucher sales
If you no longer want to sell gift vouchers, you can hide them from your Booking Page.
Go to Settings > Inventory > Vouchers.
Click the ⋮ menu in the top right corner.
Select Disable from booking website.
Vouchers you've already sold stay valid, and your customers can still use them.
