EET 2.0 from 2027: how Reservio is preparing

Written by Tamara Znamenáková

From 1 January 2027, electronic sales registration (EET) is returning in the Czech Republic. The rules are set by Czech law and managed by the Czech Financial Administration (Finanční správa).

This article explains what Reservio is doing about it. It only applies to businesses in the Czech Republic.

You don’t need to set anything up in Reservio right now

You don’t need to change anything in your account yet. Your calendar, bookings and payments keep working exactly as they do today.

If anything in Reservio changes because of EET 2.0, we’ll let you know in advance and describe it here in the Help Center.

What Reservio is doing

  • We’re following the legislation and the information published by the Financial Administration.

  • We’re preparing Reservio so that our customers in the Czech Republic can meet their obligations.

  • As soon as we know the details, we’ll publish them in this article and let you know.

We’re not announcing any specific features, dates or technical solutions yet. This article will be the first place we update, so please don’t plan for anything that isn’t written here.

How to find out what EET 2.0 means for your business

We can’t provide tax or legal advice. Every business is in a different situation, and only you and your accountant know yours.

Does this also apply in Slovakia?

No. Businesses in Slovakia register their sales through the eKasa system, which this article doesn’t cover.

We’ll update this article as we learn more. If you have any questions in the meantime, message us in the chat.
