How to set service categories

Using the service category feature, you can divide the offered services into various categories and get your Booking Website more organized. Make the whole reservation process even easier for your clients!

Creating a service category

  1. Open the Business tab — Scheduling Services and click on the white button Add new category.

  2. Fill in the Name of the new category (for example, For men) and also the Description, and click the Save button.

  3. The newly created category is automatically listed. You can adjust the category order by holding the dots on the left and dragging the selected category up or down.

How to create a new service category in the Reservio Business app

You can create a new service category also via your mobile app:

  1. First, click on the Settings icon in the bottom bar and select Services.

  2. Then click on the blue Create button.

  3. Select Add new category, fill in the name and description, and confirm this new category with Save.

Assigning services to a category

  1. Open the specific service you wish to assign to the category.

  2. Under the title Category, you can see to which category the service is currently assigned. If you want to change it, click the arrow to the right, and select where you want to move the service. Finally, remember to save the change.

Good job! Your clients will see this service included in the relevant category.

How to assign services to a category in the Reservio Business app

You can assign services to a category also via your mobile app:

  1. First, click on the Settings icon in the bottom bar and select Services.

  2. Then open the specific service and click on the pen icon next to the Category title.

  3. You can select from the whole list of categories where you want to move the service — click on the selected category name.
