How to upgrade or renew a plan
Updated over 5 months ago

- Your plan will expire soon, the limit of bookings in a specific package is not enough for you or you would like to use the features available only in a higher plan? Below you can find two scenarios for plan upgrade or renewal.

Upgrade to a premium plan

  • What upgrade means: Plan upgrade is changing your existing plan for the higher.

  • When you can upgrade: You can move to the higher plan at any time.

  • From which plan you can upgrade: From any plan, besides Pro, which is the highest Reservio plan.

  • To what you can upgrade: You can choose any premium plan - Starter, Standard, or Pro. You can find a full comparison here.

  • How much you pay: When your current plan is Free or expired you will pay the price presented at the Pricing page. When your subscription is still running, you will pay only the difference in the price between your current and the higher selected plan.

When you choose the plan you want to upgrade to, follow the same steps as for the purchase of a new premium plan.

  1. Click on the Settings — Business — Billing - Renew plan. Or you can find the Upgrade button in the upper right corner.

  2. Click on the plan you want.

  3. Select the subscription period (6 months, 1 year, or 2 years) and fill in the information.

  4. Pay via the partner payments portal.

Existing plan renewal

  • What it is: Plan renewal is a repeated subscription of the same plan.

  • When you can renew: You can renew your plan when it's close to the expiration date or already expired.

  • Which plan you can renew: Any plan besides Free, which doesn't need a subscription.

  • How much you pay: The price of your plan for the selected subscription period according to the Pricing page.

Pro plan renewal

The process of plan renewal depends on your actual plan. If you use the Pro plan, the renewal will be the same as for the upgrade.

  1. Click on the Settings — Business — Billing - Renew plan.

  2. Select the subscription period (6 months, 1 year, or 2 years) and fill in the information.

  3. Pay via the partner payments portal.

Starter and Standard plan renewal

If you use any other plan such as Starter and Standard:

  1. Go to the Settings — Business — Billing — Renew plan.

  2. Click on the plan you want.

  3. Select the subscription period(6 months, 1 year, or 2 years) and fill in the information.

  4. Pay via the partner payments portal.

Payment and activation of the premium plan

Currently, the system does not offer the possibility of a monthly payment. So all of the premium plans must be paid for the entire selected subscription period upfront.

By default, it is possible to pay by credit card online, by bank transfer, or via PayPal. A few other options may be added to these payment methods, depending on their availability in your region.

The package activation depends on the chosen payment method and how fast the payment is:

  • For card and PayPal payments, the payment is registered within a few minutes and the same applies to the activation of the package.

  • Registering a bank transfer payment can take several business days (usually 3-5), resulting in a longer period for activating premium services.

Auto-renewal of the premium plan

When paying by card online and via PayPal, the system activates the auto-renewal. It means that at the end of the subscription period, the system automatically extends your premium plan for an equally long period. You will receive an email notification before your scheduled subscription, which allows you to disable this automatic payment.
