How to fix reservation button issues in iFrame on Safari (iPhone & iPad)
Updated this week

If the booking button is not functioning when using an iFrame on your own domain or webpage, the issue may be due to Safari’s default security settings. These settings can interfere with the proper operation of the iFrame feature. To resolve this, please follow the steps outlined below.

Step 1: Disable Pop-up Blocking

To ensure the booking button functions correctly, you first need to disable pop-up blockers in your browser. Follow these steps:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.

  2. Scroll down and tap Apps, then select Safari.

  3. Under the General section, find Block Pop-ups.

  4. Toggle Block Pop-ups off.

Once this is done, proceed with enabling cross-site tracking.

Step 2: Allow Cross-Site Tracking

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.

  2. Scroll down and tap Apps, then select Safari.

  3. Navigate to the Privacy & Security section.

  4. Find Prevent Cross-Site Tracking and toggle it off.

These adjustments should resolve the issue and allow the booking button to function properly within an iFrame.

These settings must be adjusted on each device where the issue occurs. This change ensures the reservation page loads correctly while still maintaining essential security settings.
