Adding a new staff member

Do you have business with several employees and need customers to be able to book with a specific one? Create a profile for your employees, which then appears on your Booking Website.

  1. Find the option to add a new employee under the Settings tab — Business Staff.

  2. Clicking on the blue button Add staff opens a window with several empty fields.

  3. Fill in one by one:

    • Name — This name appears in both your personal Reservio calendar and on the Booking Website.

    • Assigned services — Select which services this employee provides.

      • When creating a new employee profile, the All Services option is automatically selected. By clicking in the row labeled All Services, you can remove the services that the employee doesn’t provide.

    • Email — Fill in the email address if you want the employee to receive notifications of new, changed, or canceled bookings.

      • To receive these notifications, be sure to check the button that says "Notify staff member about new appointments via email". This feature is available in premium plans Standard and Pro.

      • If you want the employee to be able to log in using their own user account, check the button next to "Enable staff member to log in and manage own bookings".

    • Short bio — Write a short description in which you briefly introduce a staff member. This description will be displayed to customers on the Booking Website.

    • Set custom booking hours — By checking this box, you can set custom booking hours. Just fill in hours when this employee is available, and the system automatically prioritizes this setting among the general booking hours settings. However, if you use a calendar for events, setting the opening hours for employees is irrelevant.

  4. Then just click on the Save button and the staff member is ready to accept new bookings.

Where to find this setting in the Reservio Business app

You can also add a new staff member in your mobile app.

  1. Click on the Menu icon in the bottom bar and go to the Business section.

  2. Then click on the Staff icon and the blue + Create button.

  3. Type in a name and set up assigned services.

  4. Confirm the creation of the new staff profile with the blue Create button.
