After successfully registering a new account, you can start making bookings immediately. If you have chosen a calendar for individual appointments, in this guide you'll find information on how to create new bookings. If you have selected a calendar for group events, click here.
Reservio offers two options for creating a new booking:
making a booking as the owner of the business account (directly in the calendar),
booking as a client (via your Booking Website) - you can find more information here.
How to make a booking directly in the booking calendar?
In your booking calendar, you can create new bookings for your clients by following a few simple steps:
Click on any date directly in your reservation Calendar.
A short form to fill out pops up.
In its introduction, there are boxes for information about a specific client. Only the client's name is required. However, it is always advisable to add an email address and a telephone number, which are then saved in your client database. In the future, this data can facilitate the creation of further bookings or communication with this client.
It is also necessary to add the type of service and assign a staff member who will attend to the client.
Next, you can edit the time and date. The booking duration is set automatically according to the assigned service, but if necessary, you can change it here, too.
You can also select the booking status.
At the bottom of the form, you will also find the option to Add a note and Add a repeat. If a client comes regularly, you can pre-create bookings with regular recurrence.
When you have completed all the necessary information, don't forget to click on Book. Immediately after that, the booking is displayed in your Reservio calendar. This change is also reflected on the Booking Website - so this date will no longer be available to other clients.
Via the Create new button
In the Calendar tab, click on the Create new button located in the top left corner.
When the new window opens, click on the selected Service or select Meeting from the top menu if it is, for example, just a consultation for which you have not created a service.
In the next steps, assign an employee and select a date and time.
Then select a client or create a new one.
In the last step you will see a summary of the booking. Here you can also add other details (such as repeats or booking status). If everything is correct, click the blue Save and continue button.
How to create a booking in the Reservio Business app
You can create bookings also via the mobile app:
Open the Calendar tab from the bottom bar and click on the red plus button.
Select the service, and staff member, choose the time and date, and assign the client for whom you are making this booking.
In the last step, you will see a summary of this data, which you can check to be sure.
In addition, you can add repetition, write notes or assign a pass.
Don’t forget to save the booking by clicking on the tick icon in the upper right corner.
