An important booking rule is the Booking frequency — the time interval between available slots that will be displayed to your clients.
How does this booking rule work?
The value is automatically set to 15 minutes. It means that clients will be shown the available times of the offered service every 15 minutes, i.e. 9:00; 9:15; 9:30, etc. You can set this interval from 5 minutes to 1 day.
This interval does not apply to the length of the offered service. For example if the service lasts 1 or 3 hours, the customer will be able to choose from slots that are spaced 15 minutes apart. When a booking is made, the system blocks the time relevant to the duration of the service (e.g. 3 hours) and then offers other clients the next available slots, again with 15-minute intervals.
The Booking frequency is calculated from the start of your business's opening hours or an employee's working hours, regardless of existing bookings.
Consider what time interval is best for your business
It's important to think this setting through to avoid downtime between clients. One client may book for 4:15 pm (service takes 1 hour) and another for 6:00 pm. This would cause a 45-minute downtime that you could dedicate to clients. It all depends on your needs and preferences.
How to set up the time interval for your clients' bookings
In the Online booking — Booking rules, you will find this setting in the second item just below the Booking time limits. Click on the drop-down list under “Every” and select the desired value from 5 minutes to 1 day.
Make sure to save your changes. 😊
Where to find this setting in the Reservio Business app
The Booking frequency setting can be found in one place along with the other booking rules. Just click on the Menu icon in the bottom bar. The Booking rules are located in the Online booking section where you can set this rule.
