Limiting client bookings per month

Updated over 5 months ago

If you're looking to control the number of bookings a client can make within a specific time frame, Reservio doesn't have an automatic setting for that. However, you can achieve this through the Reservio Loyalty program.

Thanks to the combination of the Loyalty program and booking rule settings, you can restrict the number of bookings for specific clients. By configuring rules that permit online bookings only for clients with a valid pass, you ensure that only those with passes can make reservations. Additionally, using passes with a limited number of visits further restricts the number of bookings clients can make within a specific time period.

Here's how to implement it:

  1. Access the Loyalty Program
You can find comprehensive instructions on how to set up and use the Loyalty program in our guide here.

  2. Add Passes
In the Loyalty program, you can create passes with a certain number of visits. This effectively limits the number of bookings a client can make within a specific time period.

  3. Manual Management
Be aware that this process is quite manual. You'll need to add passes to your clients and renew them once they expire. This ensures that clients can continue making bookings as their passes renew.

  4. Booking Rules
To enforce this restriction, you'll need to set up your booking rules to allow online booking only for clients with valid passes. This means that clients without a pass won't be able to book online, thus limiting their number of bookings.

While it might require some manual effort, using the Loyalty program in this way can effectively limit the number of bookings a client can make per month or within any defined timeframe.
