Understanding "anonymized" in bookings: what it signifies

Understanding "anonymized" in bookings: a quick guide

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Have you ever spotted "anonymized" instead of a client's name in your Reservio calendar?

When you see "anonymized," it indicates that the client who originally made the booking has been deleted from your client database. It could be that the client has voluntarily deleted their own account on Reservio. Alternatively, it might result from someone with access to your business account—be it an admin or staff member—removing the client from their end. If all client profiles are bulk-deleted, any existing reservations tied to those clients will remain active in the system. However, these reservations will no longer be linked to any contact details, meaning you cannot reach out to those clients using the retained booking data.
