When you activate an online payment or POS system, you will encounter payment preferences and payment methods. Below you will find an explanation of what these terms mean.

Payment preferences are the ways in which you wish to receive payments. You have the option to set up to require online payment in advance, or you can set up to make online payment in advance optional for customers. We recommend setting online payments as mandatory, as this can reduce no-show rates.

The payment methods include the different payment methods you can accept. Choose from card payments, cash, and others, which include other alternative methods that customers can use to pay for your services, events, products, and passes.

To change your payment preferences or payment methods, open the Sales tab - Payment options and simply reconfigure what you need.
