Mandatory Information in the Booking Form

Booking form and mandatory information.

Updated over 5 months ago

When using Reservio for creating reservations, clients will be prompted to fill out a booking form.

1. Mandatory information

Booking form includes three mandatory fields: name, email address, and phone number. These fields are crucial for effective communication and appointment management.

Why these details matter?

  • Name: Helps in personalizing the booking and facilitates smoother interactions. The name field is singular, not divided into first and last names, simplifying the process for clients.

  • Email address: Serves as a primary mode of communication and a means to send

booking confirmations, reminders, and other important information.

  • Phone number: Enables quick communication, especially in the case of last-minute changes or emergencies.

It's important to note that Reservio does not allow you to modify the system settings to exempt any of these mandatory fields. This ensures a consistent and reliable collection of client information across all bookings.

2. Additional field: supplementary question

While the booking form maintains the rigidity of name, email, and phone fields, you do have the flexibility to add one supplementary question to the booking form. This question can be customized to gather specific information relevant to your business or service.

Unlike the mandatory fields, filling in the supplementary question is not obligatory. Clients can proceed with the booking even if they choose not to answer this additional query.
