How to update an appointment or an event

Do you need to change the booking date or adjust the capacity within an event? Our booking calendar (whether you use the calendar for individual appointments or group events) is a breeze!

Editing an individual booking

In the Calendar tab, find and open the booking you need to change. The same form as when creating a new reservation pops up. Here you can change the entered data (the type of service, employees, date and time of the booking, or its duration). You won't be able to change clients' data in this setting — update them using this guide. Don't forget to Save changes.

You can also delete the booking, if necessary — Delete button is in the lower right corner of the window with the booking details. The system offers you to leave the client a short note explaining the cancellation.

How to edit an individual booking in the Reservio Business app

You can edit individual bookings also in your mobile app. Open the Calendar tab and click on the booking you want to modify. The first screen you’ll see is the booking detail, where you can assign a pass or write a note. If you wish to cancel the booking, you can do so by clicking on the red delete icon, also found in the booking detail.

To edit the booking—such as the employee, service, date, repetition, or price—use the Edit option within the booking detail. Be sure to save your changes by clicking the tick icon in the upper right corner.

Editing a group event

In the Calendar tab, open the specific group event you want to change and click the Edit button in the upper right corner.

A page with booking details opens, and here you can overwrite the details. Don't forget to Save the changes at the end. The system will ask you whether you want to edit only this selected event or all following events of the same type.

You can also change the date of a specific group event by dragging and dropping the event directly in the calendar.

You can also delete the event if necessary — the Delete button is in the lower right corner of the window with the booking details. When canceling a booking, the system offers you the option to leave a short message to the client with the reason for canceling the reservation.

How to edit a group event in the Reservio Business app

You can edit a group event in your mobile app, too. Open the Calendar tab and select a specific lesson or course. To edit this event click on the pencil icon in the upper right corner and rewrite any information. Don't forget to save the changes by clicking on the tick icon in the upper right corner. You can cancel this event by clicking the trash can icon next to the tick.

How can end-users change their bookings?

As an end-user, changing a booking can be a bit challenging. Typically, end-users do not have the ability to directly modify their bookings.

If end-users find the need to make changes to their booking, their best course of action is to either cancel the existing booking and create a new one with the desired details or reach out directly to the business or service provider with whom they made the booking. They will be able to assist in making the necessary adjustments to the reservation.
